Il y a pas mal de restaurants vietnamiens en Corée !
J’aime beaucoup les nouilles vietnamiennes à base de riz.
Il y a quelques années, pour manger ce plat, il fallait délibérément googler et trouver un restaurant qui vendait des nouilles vietnamiennes de riz !
Cependant, de nos jours, il y a tellement de restaurants vietnamiens que vous pouvez facilement rencontrer n’importe où en passant.
Peut-être maintenant y a-t-il beaucoup plus de Vietnamiens en Corée qu’avant ?

Do you like Vietnamese food?
Recently, there are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Korea!
I really like Vietnamese rice noodles.
A few years ago, to eat this, you had to deliberately google and find a restaurant that sold Vietnamese rice noodles!
However, nowadays there are so many Vietnamese restaurants that you can easily come across anywhere while passing by.
Is that because there are many more Vietnamese in Korea than there used to be?

Il y a un grand magasin dans mon quartier.
Cela fait 27 ans qu’il a été ouvert, donc cela ressemble plus à un grand supermarché qu’à un VRAI grand magasin qui vend des produits de luxe (il y en a aussi certains bien sûr !). 😛
Quoi qu’il en soit, il y avait un restaurant vietnamien qui a ouvert cette année, alors j’y ai déjeuné deux fois !
Je vous montre quelques photos !

There is a department store in my neighborhood.
It has been 27 years since it was open, so it feels more like a large general store than a real department store that deals with luxury goods(there are some of those things, too.).
Anyway, there was a Vietnamese restaurant that opened this year, so I had lunch there twice!
I’ll show you some pictures!
Comme je l’ai dit, je suis une grande fan des nouilles de riz !
Par contre, je ne suis pas familière avec d’autres plats vietnamiens.
J’ai juste essayé « 분짜 Bún Chả » une fois.
La première fois que j’y suis allée, j’étais avec ma sœur.
On a commandé un menu A pour 2 personnes.
Ce restaurant a été initialement ouvert à Itaewon, zone touristique spéciale pour les étrangers, à Séoul.
Actuellement, il possède 4 agences dont Busan.

As I said, I am a big fan of rice noodles!
However, I am not familiar with other Vietnamese foods.
I could try Buncha only once before.
On my first visit to this restaurant, I went with my sister.
We ordered the set menu A for two.
This restaurant was originally opened in Itaewon, special tourist zone for foreigners, in Seoul.
Currently, it has 4 branches including the Busan one.
« Set Menu A : Beef Pho + Bun Cha + Ban Xeo, ￦ 39,500 »
Coriandre et citron vert, un peu d’assaisonnement rouge (quel genre d’assaisonnement est-ce ? Je n’en ai pas gouté).
On nous a apporté des ciseaux et une pince, et je me suis demandé pourquoi on nous les donnait.

Coriander and lime, some seasoning (what kind of seasoning is this? I didn’t eat it).
And they brought scissors and tongs, and I wondered why they were giving them.
« 분짜 Bún Chả » a été servi en premier.
C’était vraiment bon !
Il était parfaitement assorti à cette sauce aigre-douce.
Trop bon !

It was perfectly matched with this sweet and sour sauce.
Super good!
Les nouilles de riz étaient copieuses !
J’aime généralement manger des nouilles de riz dans n’importe quel restaurant !
Je veux dire que c’était bon ! ;D

The rice noodles were plentiful.
I usually enjoy eating rice noodles at any restaurant.
« 반쎄오 Bánh Xèo », ah, c’était mon premier « 반쎄오 Bánh Xèo ».
Avez-vous tous déjà goûté ce plat ?
La pince et les ciseaux !
Il s’est avéré qu’on me les avait donnés pour couper ce « 반쎄오 Bánh Xèo » ! ahaha
Eh bien, au moins, je m’en suis rendu compte exactement au bon moment ! 😛

Have you all tried this dish?
I said I had wondered why the manager had put the tongs and the scissors on the table first, it turned out that she had given me them to cut this Bánh Xèo!
At least, I figured it out at the right moment! 😛
Ce plat était déjà coupé en 3 morceaux au moment d’être servi sur la table.
Mais j’ai dû le recouper en morceaux très fins car ça faisait trop chaud. mdr
J’en ai mangé en morceaux !

It was already cut into 3 pieces when being served on the table.
However, I had to cut it into very fine pieces again because it was so hot. lol
Le prix total payé était de 39 500 wons.
C’était un menu fixe pour deux personnes, mais c’était certainement TROP beaucoup pour juste deux.
Eh bien, si vous êtes un gros mangeur comme nous, vous pourriez être capable de vider le bol complètement. mdr
Ce jour-là, nous n’avons pas pris le petit déjeuner et nous avons fini par sauter le dîner !
J’étais vraiment calée toute la journée.

The total price paid was 39,500 wons.
Although it was a set menu for two, it is definitely a large amount for two people to eat.
If you’re a big eater like us, you can eat them all, but guess what?
On that day, we hadn’t eaten breakfast and eventually skipped dinner too!
I’ve been really full all day.
Même selon les prix en Corée, c’est un peu élevé quand on le considère comme un repas.
Ce n’est pas courant de dépenser environ 20 000 wons par personne pour le déjeuner, même ici en Corée!
Mais il s’agit d’un restaurant dans un grand magasin.

Even based on Korean prices, it’s a bit high price when you consider it for a meal.
It is not usual to spend about 20,000 wons per person for lunch, even here in Korea really!
Yet it is a restaurant in a department store.
« Set Menu B : Beef Pho + Bun Cha + Morning Glory + Fried Rice (Shrimp or Pineapple Choice), ￦ 47,500 »
Lors de notre visite suivante, on a commandé un menu B(47 500 wons).
Le menu B (pour trois personnes) a consisté en Phô(soupe de boeuf aux nouilles de riz) + Bún Chả(Bun cha), les Morning glory + du riz frit (aux crevettes ou à l’ananas).
On a choisi du riz frit à l’ananas.

When we visited again, we ordered a set menu B(47,500 wons).
The Set Menu B (for three people) consisted of Phô(beef rice noodle soup + Bún Chả(Bun cha), Morning Glory + Fried rice (shrimp or pineapple choice).
We chose the pineapple fried rice.
Les liserons d’eau(épinards vietnamiens) étaient des légumes sautés dans une sauce assez sucrée. Je ne crois pas qu’on puisse facilement les retrouver en Corée.
C’était bon, quand même !

Morning glory (Ipomoea aquatica) was stir-fried vegetables in a very sweet sauce.
I don’t think you can easily find this vegetable in Korea. (Can you?!)
It was delicious, though!
Le riz frit à l’ananas avait un goût familier.
Quand je vais dans un restaurant asiatique, je mange souvent du riz frit à l’ananas. 🙂
Ça n’avait pas de goût spécial.

The fried rice tasted familiar.
When I go to an Asian restaurant, I often eat pineapple fried rice. 🙂
It didn’t taste special.
C’est le café glacé vietnamien au lait concentré « Cà Phê Sữa Đá » que ma mère a commandé.
Elle a d’abord commandé un café chaud contenant du lait concentré sucré, mais un membre du personnel a dit que le café chaud ne serait pas aussi chaud que prévu et que ce serait plutôt tiède.
(Nous ne savions pas pourquoi !) mdr

Elle a dit, au lieu de cela, que le café glacé vietnamien allait être bien meilleure.
Personnellement, je l’a trouvé assez fort et super sucré à la fois !

This is the Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk “Cà Phê Sữa Đá” that my mother ordered.
At first she ordered hot coffee with condensed milk, but a staff said the hot coffee wouldn’t be as hot as expected. It would be more like just lukewarm. (We didn’t know why!) lol
Korean expression related to this will be covered soon!
Instead, she said that ice was going to be much better.
I tasted it a bit.
Personally, I found it quite strong/bitter and super sweet at the same time!
Un coca pour moi (a coke for me) And that’s it !
Voilà, le restaurant est propre et la cuisine est délicieuse, donc je dirais que c’est une bonne adresse pour profiter de la cuisine vietnamienne !

The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious, so I’d say that this is a good place to taste Vietnamese dishes! 🙂
