Vous vous demandez sûrement : « Un post sur les médicaments contre le rhume… en plein été ? »

En Corée, il existe une expression :

« Même un chien n’attrape pas de rhume en été. »

Autrement dit, autrefois, attraper un rhume en été était si rare que c’en était presque impensable.

Mais ce n’est plus vraiment le cas.

Aujourd’hui, avec la climatisation à fond et les écarts de température entre intérieur et extérieur, beaucoup de gens tombent malades en été.

Et cette forme de rhume est même connue sous un nom : 냉방병 Naengbangbyeong — le syndrome de climatisation (/nêng.ban.pion/).

Certains chez le médecin, d’autres préfèrent se soigner seuls.

Alors autant savoir ce qu’on peut acheter en pharmacie sans ordonnance !

Well, in Korea, there’s a saying:

“Even a dog doesn’t catch a cold in summer.”

That means summer colds used to be so rare, they were almost unimaginable.

But that’s no longer the case.

With air conditioning on full blast and extreme temperature differences between indoors and outdoors, many people now get sick in the summer.

And there’s even a name for this kind of cold: 냉방병 Naengbangbyeong — “air conditioner syndrome” (/nehng:-bang-ppyong/).

Some go to the doctor, some don’t. Either way, it’s good to know what you can pick up at the pharmacy without a prescription!
