Pourquoi j’ai choisi ce mot ?
Tout simplement parce que je l’utilise tout le temps dans la vie de tous les jours (et pas seulement moi — nous, les Coréens !).

Why did I choose this word?
Just because I use it all the time in everyday life (and not just me — we, Koreans do too!).
Then I realized… uh-oh, I’d never actually talked about it properly before!
🏪 D’abord : 가게 Gage, le mot de base / the basic word
En coréen, le mot standard pour “magasin” ou “boutique” est 가게 /ga.gué/.
C’est le mot officiel et formel qu’on utilise partout !

In Korean, the standard word for “store” or “shop” is 가게 /ga-geh/.
It’s the official, formal word used everywhere!

Beaucoup d’entre vous connaissent déjà le mot 집 (djip) grâce à mon post sur 집들이(pendaison de crémaillère) !
