Ça fait déjà un moment que je vous ai raconté la pendaison de crémaillère chez mon frère.

Le lendemain, je suis allée chez mon amie YJ qui habite à Ulsan.

Sa pendaison de crémaillère avait un style un peu plus moderne.

The next day, I visited my friend YJ who lives in Ulsan.

Après avoir fait le tour de son nouvel appartement, on a décidé d’aller manger dehors.

After checking out her new place, we decided to grab something to eat outside.

Comme j’avais enchaîné les restaurants coréens (vous vous souvenez du mot 밥집 Bapjip ?), les jours précédents, j’ai proposé qu’on aille dans une pizzeria pour changer.

Since I’d been hopping from one Korean restaurant to another (remember the word 밥집 Bapjip from my latest post?), I suggested we switch it up and go for pizza this time. 🍕

On est allées dans une pizzeria près de Jakcheonjeong, célèbre pour ses cerisiers de plus de cent ans. 🌸

We headed to a pizzeria near Jakcheonjeong, a spot famous for its cherry blossoms that have been blooming for over a century. 🌸

C’était un jour de semaine, en pleine journée, donc il n’y avait pas grand monde.

Résultat : un déjeuner tout tranquille, sans se presser.

It was a quiet weekday afternoon, so the place wasn’t crowded.

We could just take our time and enjoy the meal slowly — no rush, no noise.

J’ai entendu dire qu’en Corée, quand deux personnes vont au resto, elles commandent trois plats — et quand elles sont trois, elles en prennent quatre.

Je me dis toujours :

« bon, c’est pas toujours le cas… »

I’ve heard that in Korea, when two people go out to eat, they’ll order three dishes — and when there are three, they’ll get four.

I always think,

“well, not everyone does that…”.

Mais avec mes amis, c’est souvent comme ça.

Chacun commande ce dont il a envie, et on ajoute un plat à partager. 🍝

But honestly, with my friends, that’s usually how it goes.

Everyone orders what they’re craving, plus one extra dish to share. 🍝

Ce jour-là, on a pris une pizza, des pâtes et un risotto — trois plats en tout, à partager bien sûr !

That day, we got a pizza, some pasta, and a risotto — three dishes in total, all to share, of course!

En fait, j’avais surtout envie de pizza, mais c’est le risotto au bœuf à la crème — avec un niveau de piquant ajustable 🌶️ — qui m’a le plus bluffée !

On a aussi pris la Pizza 938, leur spécialité, ainsi que des pâtes Toowoomba Pane pasta, elles aussi personnalisables niveau piment.

Honestly, I went there craving pizza, but the creamy beef risotto — yes, you can adjust the spice level 🌶️ — ended up being my favorite.

We also got their signature 938 Pizza and Toowoomba Pane pasta, spice-adjustable too.

D’après YJ, c’est pas le resto du siècle, mais c’est un endroit sympa pour passer un bon moment entre amis.

Et franchement, je suis plutôt d’accord. 😊

YJ said it’s not the best restaurant in the world, but it’s a pretty nice spot to hang out with friends.

And honestly, I couldn’t agree more. 😊

Les restes de pizza ?

On peut les faire emballer pour 100 wons (le prix de la boîte) !

(Dans la plupart des restos coréens, c’est possible de faire emballer ce qui reste—il suffit de demander au staff. Il y a parfois des frais en plus, parfois pas !)

Leftover pizza?

You can get it boxed up for 100 won (the box fee)!

(Most Korean restaurants let you take home leftovers—just ask the staff. Some charge extra, some don’t!)

Perso, quand je vais au resto, je check toujours les toilettes.

Il faut bien se laver les mains avant de manger la pizza avec ses doigts, non ? 😂

Si ce n’est pas propre, je reviens pas.

Là, les toilettes étaient nickel ! mdr

Personally, I always check the bathroom when I visit a restaurant.

Gotta have clean hands to eat pizza with your fingers, right? 😂

If it’s not clean, I don’t come back. lol

This place?

The bathroom was spotless!

Le staff était plutôt sympa (même si de nos jours, on commande sur tablette, donc on échange pas trop avec eux ☺️), et l’ambiance était agréable.

Peut-être que je reviendrai quand les cerisiers seront en fleurs, si j’ai une envie de risotto.

The staff was pretty friendly (though these days you order on tablets, so there’s not much interaction 😁), and the vibe was chill.

Maybe I’ll come back when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, if I get that risotto craving again. 🌸
