Et il faisait un froid de canard aujourd’hui car il a neigé !🥶

Mais il neige rarement à Busan.
À part quand je suis allée à la station de ski, la dernière fois que j’ai vu de la neige en personne, c’était en 2020, et c’était à Hallasan (le mont Halla), sur l’île de Jeju ! 🏔️
Alors, aujourd’hui, je vais vous raconter mon expérience au mont Halla.
C’était une expérience unique ! 😉

But it rarely snows in Busan.
Other than when I went to the ski resort, the last time I saw snow was in 2020, and it was in Hallasan(Mountain Halla), Jeju island!🏔️
So today I will post on when I visited Hallasan(Mt. Halla).
That was a one-time experience! 😉

Pendant environ un an et demi, je me levais à cinq heures du matin pour aller à la montagne près de chez moi avec ma mère et ma sœur tous les jours !
Eh bien, franchement, appeler ça une « montagne » peut sembler un peu bizarre car elle n’est qu’à 427 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer.
Mais là personne ne l’appelle une « colline », alors laisson-tomber. 😉
De toute façon, il nous fallait environ une heure et demie pour faire l’aller-retour.

Maybe it was from around 2018?
For about a year and a half, I used to wake up at five in the morning and go up to the mountains near my home with my mom and sister everyday!
Okay, calling it a “mountain” might seem a little odd because it’s only 427 meters above sea level. But no one’s calling it a “hill” here, so let’s just call it a mountain. 😉
Anyway, we needed about an hour and a half to go back and forth.
En fait, je n’aime pas escalader une montagne (incluant *collines* et *escaliers*)!
Mais c’était un processus indispensable pour le développement de la force physique! hahaha
Notre but était de visiter Hallasan (le mont Halla) sur l’île de Jeju.
« 한라산 Hallasan » est la plus haute montagne de Corée du Sud (environ 1 947 mètres d’altitude).
« 한라 Halla » est le nom de cette montagne et « 산 San /sann/ » veut dire « montagne » en coréen.

Actually, I don’t like climbing mountains (including *hills* and *stairs*)!
But it was a necessary process for building up the physical strength! Lol
Our plan was to visit Hallasan (Mountain Halla) on the island of Jeju.
“한라산 Hallasan” is the tallest mountain in South Korea (approximately 1,947 metres above sea level).
“한라 Halla” is the name of the mountain and, “산 San” means “mountain” in Korean.

En fait, mes parents ont été partis en lune de miel à l’île de Jeju en 1986.
Ma mère a dit qu’elle n’a plus visité île de Jeju depuis. 😭

Actually, my mom and dad went on a honeymoon in Jeju.
My mother said she hasn’t visited Jeju Island since. 😭
J’ai trouvé ça plutôt drôle.
Parce qu’en fait, on voyageait à l’étranger chaque fois qu’on le pouvait, mais on ne voyageait pas autant dans notre propre pays.
J’en ai un peu honte ! 😳
Voilà pourquoi ces jours-ci nous essayons de faire des voyages domestiques comme une famille Ttubeogi(= une famille sans voiture).

I thought it was kind of funny.
Because we used to travel internationally whenever we could, but we didn’t travel very much within our own country.
That is a shame! 😳
That’s why nowadays we’re now trying to make a domestic trips as a Ttubeogi family(=a family with no car).

De toute façon, « Escalader le mont Halla » a été mis sur la bucket list de ma mère.
De plus, cela faisait déjà plus d’un an qu’nous avons toutes travaillé notre force physique. 😤😤😤
Alors pourquoi pas ?
À l’époque, nous étions physiquement prêtes (à mon avis, oui), mais personne n’a pas prévu la pandémie : la COVID-19.
Dûr, très difficile temps pour tout le monde.😰
C’est donc en décembre 2020 que nous sommes arrivés sur l’île Jeju ! 💨

Anyway, one of my mom’s bucket lists was to climb Mt. Halla.
Besides, we had been working out so hard for over a year.
So, why not?
Back then, we were physically ready (I suppose), but here comes the pandemic: COVID-19.
So we didn’t make it to Jeju Island until December 2020.😰
Il nous a fallu environ 7h30 aller-retour(pauses comprises pour prendre des photos au sommet)!

It took us about 7:30 back and forth (including breaks to take photos at the top of the mountain)!
Et en quittant la montagne, mon genou droit s’est mis à craquer.
Depuis, j’avais mal au genou assez longtemps.
Donc, après mon retour à Busan, j’ai fait une IRM. haha

While walking down the mountain, I suddenly felt my right knee creaking and shaking. 😦
Since then, I’ve had knee pains for a good while.
So, after returning to Busan, I even got an MRI. Ha-ha
Mais bien sûr, le paysage était si agréable !
Le processus d’escalade est très difficile !
Mais lorsqu’on monte enfin en haut de la montagne et qu’on regarde vers le bas de la montagne, c’est trop beau.
On le sait tous. =)

But of course, I loved the snow-covered landscape above!
Mountain climbing is so exhausting.
But when you finally reach the summit of the mountain and look down the mountain, it’s just too good.

On fait toujours la queue devant la borne indicatrice au sommet de la montagne.
Vous aurez besoin d’une photo prise ici pour obtenir un « certificat d’ascension au mont Hallasan » plus tard !
Alors ma famille a aussi fait la queue pour prendre des photos.

C’est Baengnokdam derrière ma mère.
Voici l’ancien cratère volcanique.
C’est un lac de cratère appelé « 백록담 Baengnokdam ».
A cause du froid, le lac a disparu !
C’était complètement gelé !

Ma mère et moi pensions que c’était une chose unique dans une vie, alors nous avons fait délivrer les certificats.
À ce moment-là, la machine ne fonctionnait pas bien, alors j’ai montré au personnel des photos prises au sommet et j’ai obtenu ces certificats. 🙂

My mom and I thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, so we got the certificates issued.
At that time the “Unmanned Certificate Issuer” didn’t work well, so I showed the staff out photos taken at the summit and got these certificates.

En tout cas, c’était vraiment dur.
Les montagnes couvertes de neige sont vraiment belles, mais je crois que je devrais d’abord travailler ma force physique. ahaha
Je ne sais pas si je retournerai jamais au Mont Halla, mais si je le veux, je pense qu’il faut devoir m’entraîner très fort ! 😉

Anyhow, that was really hard.
The snow-covered mountains are really nice, but I think I should have a lot of basic endurance first. ahaha
I don’t know if I will ever go back to Mt. Halla, but if I want to, I think I will have to exercise really hard!
